Our story

It started with a love of the game of basketball.

For me, it all started with a love of basketball — the buzzer-beaters, the GOAT debates, supporting your favorite player and team, and that exuberant rush when your team wins the chip. That came first.

Fantasy came later, and it took over fast. Suddenly a random Tuesday-night game between two teams going nowhere mattered, because someone on my roster needed eight boards and a couple of steals. It made me watch closer, care harder, and root for players I'd never have given a second thought.

I fell for three things at once.

  • The excitement — waiver night, a trade you'll brag about for years, stealing a category at the buzzer of the week.

  • The community — the group chat that never sleeps, the trash talk, the friends a league keeps you close to long after you'd have drifted apart.

  • The statistics — the nerdy part, which I'll happily own. There's something I love about a box score: a whole night of basketball turned into numbers you can actually argue with.

That last part is what pulled us deeper. We wanted to really understand the numbers, so we dove into the statistics and built an engine grounded in data and analysis — not gut feel, not recycled consensus. The idea was simple: give the fantasy community wider access to real data and honest views, so the kind of edge that used to sit with a handful of people who knew where to look is open to everyone who loves this game.

Our philosophy

Most fantasy rankings are an average of everyone's guesses. Averages are safe, and safe loses leagues.

And it's not just vibes. Every view is backed by our own projection engine and pressure-tested against years of real stats, game logs, player news, and results. When a call burns us, we'll own it — being honest about the misses is how we earn your trust on the wins.
