Connect Yahoo through your browser
Yahoo has put its fantasy API behind a slow, manual approval queue, so the one-click sign-in can be refused through no fault of yours. The Yahoo Relay extension gets around that honestly: it reads your leagues the same way Yahoo's own site does, using the Yahoo session you're already signed in to. One click saves that session with us (encrypted, verified with Yahoo first) so your leagues keep syncing with your browser closed. No extension? Paste two cookies instead — same as the ESPN card. We only ever read; nothing writes back to Yahoo.

Install (once)
Download: sb-yahoo-relay.zip. It's five small files you can read in any text editor; it only ever talks to Yahoo's fantasy site and to stocksandbuckets.com.
- Download the extension
Grab sb-yahoo-relay.zip from the link below and unzip it somewhere you'll keep it (the extension runs from that folder).
- Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode
Type chrome://extensions in Chrome's address bar. Flip the 'Developer mode' switch in the top-right corner.
- Load unpacked
Click 'Load unpacked' and choose the unzipped sb-yahoo-relay folder. 'Stocks & Buckets — Yahoo Relay' appears in your list; make sure it's enabled.
- Sign in to Yahoo in this Chrome
Open basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com and make sure you're signed in — the relay uses that login, so if Yahoo shows you signed out, so are we.
Connect (each time you want Yahoo live)
- Press 'Connect through your browser' on your account page
On /account, the Yahoo card says 'Relay extension detected' once the extension is installed. Press the button; within a few seconds the tag flips to 'Relay on'.
- Import a league
'Import a league' lists your Yahoo NBA leagues; pick one, then 'Set active' so every tool reads it. Sync after waiver moves or trades, same as any platform.
- That one click also saves your Yahoo session with us
The extension hands us the two cookies Yahoo uses to recognise you (T and Y), verified against Yahoo and stored encrypted — the same model FantasyPros uses for ESPN. From then on rosters, standings and the weekly digest sync with your browser closed. If Yahoo signs you out, the card says 'Session expired' and one click reconnects.
No extension? Paste two cookies
This is exactly how the ESPN card already works (SWID + espn_s2), and it is the route for Safari, Firefox and phone-first players: paste once from any desktop and every tool syncs from our side afterwards. When Yahoo eventually signs you out the card asks for a fresh pair.
- Open DevTools on a signed-in Yahoo fantasy tab
On basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com press F12 (or right-click → Inspect), open the Application tab, then Cookies → https://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com.
- Copy the T and Y values
Find the rows named T and Y and copy each Value column. They are long strings; copy them whole.
- Paste them on your account page
On /account, open 'No extension? Paste two cookies instead' under the Yahoo card, paste T and Y, press 'Connect with cookies'. We verify the pair with Yahoo before saving it, so a typo fails loudly instead of silently.
Draft night
- Connect the relay before you join the room
Same button on /account. Then open the draft assistant, create your session with the room's team count, and open 'Live sync' under the on-the-clock banner.
- Key in the draft room id
The number in your Yahoo draft-room URL (…/draftclient/…/<room id>/…). Press 'Start sync' — teams and your seat import the moment Yahoo draws the order, and picks stream in every few seconds through your own login. Your manual picks are never overwritten.
- If a sync says the relay "didn't answer", click the extension's icon: it tells you whether it's active, and whether Yahoo thinks you're signed out.
- The direct "Sign in with Yahoo" option stays on the card. The day Yahoo approves our API application it becomes the simpler route; until then the extension is the one that works.
- Privacy, plainly: the extension posts back league data only — never a cookie, never a token. You can read every line of it.
