Ignore his worst category (turnovers) and he's worth 0.08.
The decision landed, and it cost him on our board. Philadelphia is the deepest room he has ever walked into: Maxey, Jaylen Brown and Embiid all need the ball before he does, and the $4M a year he signed for is the tell — that is a ring-chase price, not a twenty-shot price. We move him to 16-5.8-5.8 on 30 minutes, and the 51 games we bank matter just as much: a 42-year-old fourth option gets rested in March, he does not get ridden. The .52 from the floor is still lovely and the assists mostly survive the demotion, because running the second unit is the job he was actually hired for. What sinks the 9-cat math is 1.3 threes and a .75 line from a name this big. One caveat cuts the other way: Embiid is a half-season bet in our projection, and on the nights he sits somebody still has to run that offense.
LeBron James enters 2026-27 at #83 on our board — Round 7 value in a standard 12-team draft, projected for 16.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 30.0 minutes a night. The value is built on assists and field-goal percentage, with turnovers the soft spot in the profile. He's a natural fit for punt-turnovers builds — take that category out of the equation and his value climbs. Availability is the swing factor — we expect about 51 games, which is priced into his draft value.
